Learn basic throwing techniques, or move on to something more advanced. Each participant works at their own level.

7:00 - 10:00pm
This can now be just a one night, "girls night out"!  
Throw a beautiful bowl or mug on the pottery wheel on the first night. 
You can come for the scheduled second night to finish the bottom, foot, or we can for it for you! 
Then come in at your leisure to glaze your finished masterpiece! So, grab a friend and have a great time learning something new!

Fee: $110 - All Levels Welcome
Class fee includes up to 3 pounds, glaze, supplies and use of all tools to produce 1-2 finished, glazed pieces. Additional clay is available to purchase.

Dirty Date Night
Grab someone special and come get dirty....with clay!
This is a two-day course where you will throw one piece of pottery on the wheel, (up to 3 pounds each), & trim the base during the second visit.
Glazing is done on your own during any of our Open Studio times. Clear glazing instructions are included in the course fee.

Pottery Open Studio
Take advantage of our Open Studio to complete classwork or create a masterpiece of your own. 

Prior experience in the studio or approval from the ceramics studio manager is required before using wheels or sending a piece out for firing.
Adult - $10/day
Child - $10/day with a parent present**
Independent Child - Fee varies based on age

and must be approved by the studio manager.
Materials and firing fees are additional.

Pottery Wheel Open Studio with Creative Assistance

Adult Clay Handbuilding
A beginner/Intermediate class for those interested in developing basic clay handbuilding skills while creating beautiful glaze-fired pieces of art with our teacher Vickie. No experience is necessary, work at your current skill level.
3 Sessions, Tuesday's, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM 
$99 Per 3-week session
Glaze and firing at an additional fee.


BYOB and feel free to bring food! (No nut products, please)




This Open Studio setting allows you to work on your own projects with creative assistance from an experienced potter, as needed, to develop/enhance your skills or projects.

Prerequisite: Beginner Pottery wheel courses, either at VCA or at another fine art venue is mandatory.

Create a Masterpiece in one night!
Our amazing, funny and talented master painter,
Miss Deb, guides you Step-by-Step through the process of creating your masterpiece.  

No experience required.  Meets Monthly: Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or call the studio for dates and information on our upcoming painting projects.

Oil Painting Exploration

An opportunity to try your hand at Oil Painting in a relaxing, encouraging and inspirational environment. Artist/Instructor Elizabeth Hill will guide you through the steps and help you to find your own unique creative approach to this art.
8-week course. $295.

Drawing and Watercolor

4 Wednesdays
10:00 am - 12:00pm

$139 pp. This class is for students who are either beginners or experienced in watercolor but would like to learn new painting techniques, relax, have fun and enjoy an encouraging environment with instructor Betty Ann Medeiros. 

Students will bring an 8x10 copy of a photo to class. You will learn to draw with pencil and paint with watercolors to complete your piece.
