Explore Creative Arts with Village Center for the Arts Summer Camp

Our Camps are designed specifically for children to learn in a fun, accepting environment.
Through art we instill confidence, independence, and inner strength.
We help your child find sparks of inspiration and continue to foster, nurture, and develop original ideas by introducing them to the arts in our week-long project based curriculum.

This camp will span the video game universe back in time.

We will be studying the art and gameplay of old school video games.

From Atari classics to Nintendo hits; from PC favorites to modern gaming consoles.

Students will be engaged in the art behind the games, learning how to draw the characters that they play in the game. Guaranteed to be a good workout for your thumbs and imaginations.

Class size limited to 12 campers per week.

$425.00/includes everything

Creative Writing Camp

Summer Camp

The club-like atmosphere is designed to fit two age groups:

9-11, and 12-14.
There are multiple opportunities in each class to read your work aloud. Our accelerated summer program consists of 10, 90-minute sessions that will take place over a 2 week period, Monday - Friday. Students will develop various pieces of writing, while examining excerpts from the original Alice in Wonderland.
Miss Brittney will encourage them with prompts, creative expression, and confidence.
It concludes with a final reading and reception open to family and friends. At the end of camp, students will have the start of a novel, a short story, or several standalone pieces to put in their writing portfolio.
