Mud Puppies
Saturday, 3-3:45 PM. 6 wks. Ages 3 & 4
Introduce your child to the wonderful world of clay sculpture! In this magical class, your child will experience clay as a language with which he or she can express their world! Learning how to work with real kiln fired clay begins with play, exploration and stories. Join us on this journey. Students will create sculpture, learn o care for their work space & respect their fellow artists, learn about the firing of clay, and glaze or paint their creations.
Note: If your child misses a sculpture day, they will have nothing to do on glazing day. Make up classes are an option, but will incur a private lesson fee.
Little Creators
Saturday, 4:15-5:15 PM. 6 weeks. Ages 5 & 6
Taste all different art forms in this exciting class for emerging mini artists. We'll experience media such as; paint, polymer clay, pastels, and sculpture in the round. We treat your kids like artists who happen to be kids. They will learn to care for tools, respect fellow artists, care for their workspace, and understanding of the media presented.
Note: Missing the first day of a two week project will mean your child will have nothing to do on the second day. Make up classes are an option, but will incur a regular private lesson fee.
